here i want to post other alternate to use sma. Why i choose SMA coz we all know this are easy and simple indicator but powerful if we can manage it. and im sure even the newbie can follow this.trus me

the setup is simple.just put following indicator :
Simple Moving Average 5
Simple Moving Average 13
Simple Moving Average 24
Simple Moving Average 62
thats its. you can add MACD 12, 26, 9 to make confirm if u wish.
put it all on every timeframe you like, but i recommend it on 30m.

On the next post i will show you how to use this simple smacross.

how to use the setup. Its simple as 1-2-3. just put on chart, watching, enter.
Putting on chart:
put on 30m TF. (which best i know so far)
Watching :
just watch and wait for crossing.
Enter :
set op buy when sma5 cross up sma13 and together they cross up sma62.
set op sell when sma5 cross down sma13 and together they cross down sma 62.

u also can set op wherever sma5 cross sma13, but i suggest take small tp.u still can have pip there.
sma62 just make confirm for the trend.

i believe every method has false signal,coz we cant predict market accurately.It moved by people and we cant predict people mind,unless u can read mind Very Happy

i use only sma24 and macd 12,26,9 to filter the false.sometimes when sma5 cross sma13 it doesnt always cross sma62. so when sma5 cross sma13 but not cross sma24, it probable just temporary and will back to it trend.

how bout macd?
macd use for the confirm the trend as show on this chart below.

remember !!
price always get choppy after big move.
take 10-20 pip tp, dont be greedy Very Happy

yup u can learn it there, thanks to emas.

on my trade im not using sl, coz i just use small TP and lot. so even the price goes contrary, ur margin still enough to open new pos on the trend.usually i let pos touch its tp even wait for 2-3 days. while i take another pos on newest trend.dont know bout you, but that what i do. and remember u must feel comfort with ur method of trading. dont be affraid and be calm hehe

But if u still want to set SL, it depend on ur trade TF. u set small sl on small tf like 20 on 30tf and big sl on big tf like 50 on h1 or h4. correct me about this ramdas

May you post your template to have excact the same? Will be more easy to ask a question when necesary.

One additional question, you wrote that 5 and 13 should cross 62 and 62 is just for to confirm the general trend.
Isn't it that 5 and 13 should cross 24 to enter and 62 is to see the main trend?

Can you show how we can conform sell signal using SMA- Cross setup ?
And what Time frame is sutable to use SMA-Cross as filter in sell or buy area.

I made a question about the system from poseidon about the rules before, I guess it's logical but should be better cleared.
Today has been a nice opportunity to catch about 60 pips.
It looks to me that the system is simple and powerful.
I’m still studying your method but I’m still not clear about the entry rules, I will further read to try to understand the patterns.
I don’t see many posts here but I like the system.

first i want to say sorry coz to late to reply

at the chart i put some Alphabet to make it clear.
A : yes, sometimes u can set op when 5 cross 13 and i suggest to put tp at 24 or just take 10-20 pip as u wish. this becoz the price might be just make test.
B : if 5 or 13 not cross the 62 then price will continue the trend
C : here u can set both op sell and buy many times or just let ur first buy sky rocket
D : for the real TP usually i used ramdas setup to make it safe(thanks to ramdas) and after climbing... price take abreak and respect the line. here i dont set up anything, just wait 62 to regroup the other . after that price will show the trend, it can be continue or fall back.b carefull here.
E : why i stop tp here? coz 5 get disturb and wake to test 13 and he did it.
F : again, price respect the line, but still dont know where it going, so i just set small lot with small tp there. hopw it reach

what a great result i have with this method, at last uj sell i got 91 pip. i forget to set up tp at ramdas line then it touch trailing stop.
here is the another 3 uj sell, two already close at 106.15 and just 1 left i set the tp at 106.10. it don't touch at firs encounter, hope it touch later .
Total today pip is (except floating) = 41 pip

Im still waiting feedback from other that use this method, will be kind to share the good thing or even weakness of this method so we can improve it together.
ANOTHER WAY TO SET TP:
I have another way to set tp as i show at this image.
i set fibo retrace from lower low to higher high. and when the signal occure i set tp as my desired. i take safe tp couple pip higher then ramdas line. hope that will touch
